Upon your arrival at Kilimanjaro (JRO), you will meet your driver guide for your transfer to the hotel in Arusha, which will take less than one hour.

After landing in Kilimanjaro airport you will meet your driver guide for safari. You will have 3 hours’ drive to Tarangire National Park. You will see firsthand all that Tarangire National Park is known for – the famous ancient baobab trees, tree climbing pythons, and the largest concentration of African elephants, lions, leopards, cheetah. After a picnic lunch in midday, you will resume your afternoon game drive then drive to hotel for dinner and overnight.

Leave very early in the morning (optional breakfast at the lodge or picnic) to Empakaai crater, enjoying the lovely scenic drives with views of the Ngorongoro crater. Arrive at Empakaai crater followed by walking safari with an armed game ranger. Picnic lunch at Empakaai, on the way back to the hotel you’ll pass through a traditional Maasai village where you’ll have the opportunity to experience the culture and lifestyle of its nomadic people. You’ll be welcomed by the Maasai and get an up-close look at their handmade houses and unique traditional dances. Then drive to Serengeti for dinner and overnight.

You have a full day of excursions in the Serengeti National Park on this day, enjoying morning and afternoon game drives from the camp. The center of the Serengeti, called Seronera, is a network of rivers that ensure dependable water supplies attracting wildlife throughout the year. It is here that you’ll have your best opportunity to spot the “Big Five”: lions, elephants, buffalo, rhino, and the leopard. There will be no shortage of animal sightings as the presence of permanent mud pools and shade attract giraffes, impalas, warthogs, and hippos. You might also catch a glimpse of cheetahs, hyenas and jackals.

After breakfast, you will take three hours’ drive to Ngorongoro conservation area for Ngorongoro crater descent then followed by a game drive. In a midday you will have your lunch at the base of the crater. Often Ngorongoro is considered the 8th Wonder of the World, the crater is a very important refuge for a variety of wildlife. Most commonly seen are big bulls of elephants and the vulnerable species of black rhinos. The crater is also home to big herds of wildebeest and zebras, thomson and grant gazelles, hippopotamus, African cape buffalos, prides of lions, hyenas, serval cats, golden and black backed jackals, and close to 400 species of birds. Dinner and overnight at Karatu.

After breakfast, you will drive to Lake Manyara National Park with picnic lunches in hand early in the morning for a half day game drive. The park is situated inside of the Great Rift Valley with a distinctive evergreen forest that provides suitable habitat for olive baboons, monkeys, big families of elephants, tree climbing lions, leopards and African cape buffalos. Midday you’ll enjoy lunch in the park before setting out for the open woodland areas where you’ll hope to set your sights on giraffes, hippos and flamingos. Upon finishing your afternoon game drive and proceed back to Mto wa Mbu small town for biking tour to the water falls then proceed to Arusha for dinner and overnight.

You’ll start the Day with a short drive to Arusha National Park, this will take about 30 minutes (from Arusha). From here we’ll start driving trough the beautiful green surroundings of Arusha National Park to spot some local wildlife. All this with a stunning view of Mt. Meru on the background.
After, your local safari ranger will take you on a walking safari. The walking safari gives you a whole new and unique perspective of the national park and it’s super exciting! The scents and sounds of the African bush are best experience by foot. Here you’ll be walking alongside wild, freely roaming animals in their natural habitat. Your ranger is experienced and knows what you can or can’t to near wild animals. Listen to him, and you will have the best possible experience. Apart from sharing loads of knowledge about the animals you might encounter, your guide will also tell you all about the unique flora & fauna of Arusha National Park.
During the walking safari some unique sights will be visited, like the impressive waterfall that hides in the heart of the park, the Ngurdoto Crater and lake Momella, where thousands of pink flamingos can be often be spotted
In the midst of the forest stands the spectacular Ngurdoto Crater, whose steep, rocky cliffs enclose a wide marshy floor dotted with herds of buffalo and warthog.
Further north, rolling grassy hills enclose the tranquil beauty of the Momela Lakes, each one a different hue of green or blue. Their shallows sometimes look pink with thousands of flamingos, the lakes support a rich selection of resident and migrant water birds, and waterbucks display their large horns on the watery borders. Giraffes, zebra herds, dik-dik can also be spotted. After the game drive you will drive Kilimanjaro airport for your scheduled flight.
